Does anyone know where I can find almond rod holders that are attached to the forward sides of the console. They are 12" long x 2" diameter. I have a 222 Fisherman. I did find some on Amazon but they were white.
Thanks. ddjk1953

Hard to tell the color in the pictures but it seems like most companies are doing a bright white color nowadays. Or at least that's what a quick Google search pops up with. Something like the below linked item in their "fish white" color with no standoffs looks pretty close.

Your local Grady dealer should either have them or be able to get them. Thats where I went to replace mine!

I have a 180 and those were mounted to the sides of the live well in front of the console. Every year they cracked when bumped into or a net was put in hastily. Going to stainless.

replace with stainless ones

Have you completed the swap of your cracking plastic rod holders with stainless? If so do you happen to have a photo? I have the same boat and same issue.

Additionally, was your original hardware thru-bolted or mounted with self-tapping screws?

I'm gonna last throes of renovating the house so I did not get a chance to replace that, I'm lucky I got the boat into the water in time, I haven't even had a chance to use it yet.

I will say this, though, I don't see how you could through bolt it, it's the exterior of the live well. There's probably a 1 inch wall to the live. Well that's filled with foam perhaps.

I did find some much heavier, black plastic ones and mounted one of those last year and it seems to have held up. Once thing settle down here in a couple of weeks I'll get back to addressing the ride holders.

By the way, if you have a 180 you may wanna look at the tackle locker I just had made...
