Looking at purchasing a 248 in the next day or so. It comes with a canvas top so no rod holders besides the 4 that come standard. I also have two downriggers that I will need to install. I have looked at a few options but am open to any ideas, thanks!

i have a 204c with no hardtop. I bought some outrodders at a show, they are fantastic and well made. Guy is in VA called Wahoo Industries. You should be able to google him. He had alot of t top and hard top stuff as well. Everything is welded aluminum and painted white. looks great on the grady.

I've got a 1997 248 with a radar arch w/ rocket launchers - holds six rods plus outriggers, and my radar, VHF, GPS, anchor light and spreader light. Vista top fits right under it. Its mounted to the topsides, right near the "248" logo.

I put my downrigger attachment as far back on the gunnel port side near the transom as possible. Worked for me because the downrigger was not used all the time and it was out of the way for bottom fishing. Additional rod holders were installed on the transom board that folds down( if you have a cut out transom). They were installed on the inside so as not to interfere with trimming up the motor and the transom board always stays up. I use a center rod holder on the transom board for trolling if you set the drag light and through bolt it.
