Rod Riggers?

Gonna try some wire line trolling/jigging for Stripers and a pair of rod riggers appear to be must-have equipment.

Any recommendations? Thanks.

Hi - I had some nice stainless rod riggers but unfortunately had crew members accidentally drop both of them overboard on consecutive trips :cry:

I ended up replacing them with some Chinese-made inexpensive aluminum ones that I picked up on-line. I ordered them figuring I would return them if I didn't like them but they are working fine for me. The lanyards they provide were junk but the welds look fine and my poles fit in them fine despite some customer reviews to the contrary. I replaced the lanyards an also run lanyards on the poles. Mine came painted white.

We use the TGT's for albacore tuna trolling. They have worked well. The smiths are probably the most popular, but I don't have first hand experience with them.
