I have been bleeding rust from the fishbox thru-hull fitting for a few years.
The inside and outside of the hose looks to be dry rotted and the wire wrap is rusting.
Tried to get at the double clamps on the fitting, but my shoulder against the stringer my arm is a foot and half to short.
Even with a long box wrench I can't touch the clamps.
Anybody tried to change this yet? I found a lot of other model owners on this forum cutting hatch hole to replace thru-hulls.
I want to avoid cutting into the transom step.
