I have a 1998 272 Sailfish - It has a plastic molded drivers seat with some snap on cushions. I am more of a leaning or stand up driver than a sit down driver. I have to push the seat all the way back to lean on it which requires me to unsnap my rear canvas. Its really not the most comfortable situation.

So to my question - has anyone here converted to a small leaning post - or a helm sit with flip up bolster that would serve double duty?

Looking forward to hearing some ideas.

Thanks!

I don't know what the dealer would charge, but on some new Grady models, they have a helm seat that is hinged, and it flips back to convert from a seat to a leaning post. Might not cost more than having something made.
