Newbie here. I am thinking about purchasing a 2005 Sailfish. It needs (a) new isinglass, (b) new bolsters and (c) replacement of the glass part of the cabin door which is broken. Any thoughts are much appreciated.

A & J Canvas in Vanceboro, NC is the place to go for your curtains.
For the cabin door, I would call GW customer service.
Bolsters could be gotten from local to you canvas shop.

Fin Addict Marine in Benson NC can help with the cabin door. Fin Addict will need the GW part # which you can get from GW. They prefer that you ship them your old part to ensure they get you the correct bend assuming there is still an existing part - the price was around $300 without hardware. They predrilled holes to match the existing hardware holes.
I had my 04 Sailfish bolsters replaced 3 years ago. They were available through GW via the dealer. I had my glass curyains replaces locally by a canvas shop. It would probably be easier and cheaper to have the a local shop just recover the bolster too.

Folks - thanks for the valuable input. I may have to pass, as this boat has the dreaded twin 2005 Yamaha 225's.

If the boat is solid otherwise, don't let the exhaust scare you, pretty easy fix. Have a tech look it over and make sure the corrosion hasn't gotten into the oil pan. Had my exhaust done 2 years ago and still going.

Thanks. Keeping my fingers crossed and arranging for a tech to inspect.

if the exhaust has not been repaired you could always have it checked and as long as what KY stated has not occurred just negotiate the repair into the purchase price. Aside from the exhaust those engines are great.

All good advice and appreciated. And thanks for the pricing. Offer made with deductible for kits and a bit more , contingent on satisfaction with inspection and scope of exhaust, survey and sea trial.
