Friend has a 25' Sportsman and it came with Sea Ride I will admit it's pretty amazing of a ride difference, anyone have it on their Grady and if yes what model and how you like it?

Podcast about it and the creation thought it was interesting, full disclosure this is my son, truly just interested if Grady's have it?

Id love to install buts its just sooooo much $$$. Probably would be an amazing addition to the SeaV2. For now, Ill just use my poor man trim tabs. :p

ZipWake and Humphrees may be cheaper than Seakeeper Ride.
Every now and then other systems from other manufacturers popped up, but i can't remember their name, a search may reveal them.

One system similar to Bennet Auto Tab is MENTE fro Mente Marine but it does not what interceptor/blade systems as SK Ride, ZipWake and Humphree do.

Put the 600 on 2017 330. One of the few add ons does what it promises

Put ride on my 2024 Freedom 275. Absolutely love it. I won’t have another boat without it.

I have the 450s on my other boat. I don't have a lot of experience but they do significantly improve the ride . My hull is 26 ft and the weight of everything is about 7200 lbs.
I did and may still do have an issue with barnacles. I just redid the treatment with different primers and antifouling but can't say how that is working. Barnacle growth this season in the NYC area has been horrific. Scraping and cleaning the ride actuators was a multiday operation since the housing are composite materials with a zillion nooks and crannies. The advice form Seakeeper for antifouling says not to pant some of the actuator surfaces, specifically the metal parts. How they will deal with barnacles is unknown.
I have not played with the table of default settings but will soon. The settings now, keep the bow down when getting on plane and when on plane but on my hull, when the bow is that far down in moderate chop, there is a lot of spray and the ride can be a bit wet. If I manually raise the bow, the spray is much less.

It seems you have her on a trailer what makes cleaning them much less costly than one like me who has to fork out 300$ for travel lift and then aprox another 100$ for maintenance space.
However, interesting to know your experience as this would be a problem for many SKR equipped boats in a slip and also that SK recommend to not paint them what does not makes no sense.
The only thing what not should be painted are any parts what do retract, same as the ram's of trim tab pistons, but the rest of the non moving part?
Have you asked SK customer service about that?

Do you have a idea why the AF is not working? AF just to weak or get it washes away?

FYI i used first time the silicone based Airmar FoulFree on my transducers and get mixed results,
in 6 weeks i got one barnacle on B265LH transducer surface but the GT51M-TM was full of barnacles and my first guess is that the GT51M does not get enough water pressure on the upper parts to wash the barnacles away. So you may skip FoulFree, aslo as it seems it can become a nightmare to remove and no toher AF will stick to it if not removed 100%.
While the hull and the fairing block painted same day with International Trilux 33 was perfectly clean

The boat is wet slipped and I had to haul it on a trailer to clean the actuators. Fortunately at my club, we have a ramp. Most of the assembly is composite fiberglass. SK states not to paint the metal parts that make up the blade and blade edge. The rest of the assembly should be anti fouled. I bought the boat used and it had been bottom painted. The bottom of the ride tabs was painted. The rest of the unit was clean. I mistakenly assumed they were treated with anti foul since they were so clean. After the bad barnacle growth, it came to me that perhaps the boat was lift kept. I suspect the SR was not original equipment but I am not sure. Regardless, my gut tells me that growth is going to be an issue going forward.
Seakeeper has a technical doc on line that talks about anti fouling options. I ended up painting two coats of Interprotect 2000 barrier coat and two coats of aerosol Trilux 33 black. I did not as advised paint the metal blades or the actuator motor arms.

Ok, then let us know if the AF works, that would be interesting for boaters who consider installing SKR.
