Taking delivery of 2007 seafarer 226 in several weeks. Going to be used mostly for family time. Was hoping for some general recommendations.

1. anchor package that would work for mobile bay and offshore gulf.
2. seating configuration (some people put cooler seat on toe rail on port side)?
3. Also with space being a premium has anyone used any of the flat fenders? My old traditional fenders got sold with the last boat. Thanks!

Hey..
I had a Seafarer for 10 years and really enjoyed it.
1.)Anchor pak that I used...8 feet of galvanized chain coupled to 1/2 line.I had 300 feet in the anchor locker. All tied to a danforth sized for 26 foot boat in 25 knot winds.
2.) I'm not sure about your seating question..We had seating on either side of the stern on my 1992.
3.) Get the biggest fenders you can and stand them up in the stern or get the circular "clips" that attach them to the bow rail.
I would rather have adequate protection for the boat in less-than-ideal docking situations than have too-small fenders that are easy to store. Gouges in gelcoat on a 2007 boat are bad news. I recommend not skimping on fenders.
Summers just starting..enjoy the boat!
