I have a 2001 Grady Seafarer 226, the far edge of the vinyl headliner is starting do delaminate from the plastic backer board that Grady used. I want to repair it however I cannot determine how you remove the headliner and backer board from the ceiling of the cabin. You obviously need to remove the dome light; however after doing that I still can’t get it to budge. Are there any hidden screws that I am missing?

I believe that its probably glued onto the ceiling. I have a 2010 and had to fix some material that was dropping down. After removing the light I had to pry the whole backing panel off. Just to be sure, give Grady customer service a call and they will let you know before you get too far into it. They had even sent me the glue to put it back up. Again, not sure we are talking the same problem , so call them first.

Following up, I spoke with Grady, and they said the headliner is just held up with double stick tape. To remove, just unscrew the dome light, and then slowly start prying it down. They said there's no pattern to the tape placement (edges, center etc), and to just pry it off.
