I have a 1999 Seafarer 226 and have been looking for the gaskets for the fish boxes. From other boats I've seen there is a gasket on the starboard side and the outside port side fish boxes. Mine does not have these. I've looked around and have been unable to locate them. The only thing I have not done is go through a Grady dealer. Is that my only route? Any suggestions?

I'm sure a Grady dealer can get you exactly what you want and is as easy as a quick phone call. One place you might want to check, if you don't want to go through a dealer, is McMaster Carr. They have TONS of gasket material. But it won't be as easy as a dealer would make it. You'll have to figure out the style/size/composition you'll need and then match it up to what McMaster offers.

Thanks, I called both Grady dealers on Long Island yesterday. One said that he does not think it is available but will call Grady and get back to me. The other said that they would get back to me. I have not heard back yet

I'll try a couple out of state dealers but might end up going the McMaster Carr route. The width I can figure out easily, but the (proper) height is a little more challenging. Does anyone know how thick that gasket should be?
