I have an 89 gulfstream, I do a lot of solo downrigger fishing (that's west coast salmon fishing). I spend the majority of my time working the riggers and rods at the rear of the boat. I've seen lots of guides up here with a steering station on their transom.... I have a SeaStar system and would like to add another station back there... And suggestions? I do not require the throttle to be mounted there, only the steering.... Thoughts? Suggestions?

Thanks!

When you add the second station, you will have three hydraulic connections to make on it.
- two of them will tap in to the steering lines back aft. add "T" connectors to the copper or other tubing.
- one will have to run from the center, or equalizing connection, on the second helm, to the center (equalizing) helm on the main helm. That connection currently has a plug in it.

Other than that, you just need to figure out where and how to mount it.

Good luck!
