Normally I wouldn't consider this type of product, but it gets rave reviews by users. It doesn't so much create a layer as it seems to penetrate the vinyl and wears as if it is the original material. I'd like to give it a go, but don't know what color. I contacted the manufacturer and they don't know.
Has anyone used it? If so, what color matches GW vinyl?

If this stuff holds up half as good as people claim, I'll have no complaints. Super easy to work with. Dries quickly. 2 cans did everything in my cockpit and a cushion in the cabin.
The 1st 2 are before, 3 is side by side.
Essential this stuff is liquid vinyl. The prep spray softens the material and then you spray the coating. It isn't a layer, but rather infuses itself to the vinyl. Word is it won't ever peal.

I used Rust-Oleum vinyl paint and could not have been happier, very supple. I replaced helm seat and port side seat so I went with bright white with the rest.

Thanks.
The lawn is overdue for a mow. It won't stop raining here for more than a few hours at a time it seems. Spring in Ohio will give Seattle a run for its money!

Did you top coat yours with anything? Clear or 303?
It wouldn't surprise me if SEM and Rust-Oleum are the same stuff. Rust-Oleum is a Sherwin Williams company. I saw the testimonials over on THT and thought I'd give it a go. SEM claims to have high levels of UV inhibitors.
I also wonder if there is a closer colored than the Ranger off white. For my 2005, the color is a bit brighter than the gel coat. Maybe when I get it out of the garage it will be closer.
