Shower Sump and Pump

have a 02 282 sailfish and trying to access the shower sump and sump pump for cleaning......

the circular deck plate on the floor is too small to get my hand in there to pull the basket out and for general inspection.

how can i access??....assume i will have to remove the screws in the rectangular box in the floor near the deck plate....is this right?

Yep. Pick a cooler overcast day, grab a few brews and get to work!

Yes its under the access panel. Mine was leaking out of the sump through a poorly installed hose check inlet and outlet hose connections and tie wrap or seal with silicone. Helps keep the bilge dry.
I have removed the 4 screws to provide quick access to head, holding tank and AC seacocks as well as sump
