How is the width of the chair with the room in the 228 cockpit? Is the new helm chair wider than the stock seats?

Shipping is way more than I originally thought. I went to the UPS Store today and they quoted me $185 coast to coast for UPS Ground. So I’m gonna say this chair is for local pick up only in San Diego (unless you are crazy enough to pay for that kind of shipping fee).
