Thanks Joe. Yes we fish the Canyon, as far as the 100 square which has been very productive in past years as well as the Dip. The above pictured BFT was caught about 12 miles south of the Coimbra, a nice local 40 mile run that was holding these fish for about a month. We did another trip this past friday on a friends boat and scored with a 100 lb BFT @ 53"(pic below) and released 4 others.

Had another Awesome Offshore trip August 17th. Started with about 4 Bluefin keeping our 1 fish @ 80lbs. With the bite still on we decided to pick up lines and run to the Hudson Canyon. About an hour later we arrived at the tip and and dropped in the lures. Marked a ton of life and about an hour into the troll we same across more porpus dolphin that I have ever seen in one place along with a few whales. Shortly after we went 2 for 2 on Yellowfins. After clearing the deck and getting lures back in I decided to loop around and make another pass. Not 20 minutes later two rods start screeming and the battle began. 45 minutes later we went 2 for 2 on Big Eyes one 140 and the other 145. After getting both in the boat there were others boiling around us. Feeling we had enough we started our trip home in flat seas doing 30 knots the whole way home.

WOW... you guys are having a great season. Congrats!!! I need to switch marinas... it's a 60mi+- run for me just to round Montauk Pt. I don't mind the time but it adds a lot to the cost.
