I bought a used boat that was bottom painted by Spellman's Marine on LI. Does anyone know what they used for the bottom paint primer?

I called and asked but was given a name that is not offered by Interlux and I do know they use Interlux.

Thanks

bottom paint

I purchased my boat from spellmans and they said they used epoxycop. It is a cheaper ablative paint from interlux.\
Good luck

I had bought my Bimini from them and what ever they used was GREAT, best bottom paint job ever got in my life. I did ask them what they use and Ernie told me but i really don't remember what he said.

Spellman's Bottom Paint

The use Interlux Epoxycop, non-ablative, for the anti-fouling paint. I'm just trying to figure out the primer, epoxy barrier or regular primer. I'm hoping it is an epoxy barrier coat.

The paint job on my used boat is excellent, too.
