Split footrest for the Fisherman 222

I hated so badly that if my first mate wanted the foot rest down and I wanted to stand the damn thing banged me in the leg. I finally took it to my welder and had him split it and make a new bracket. $150 later and I have the perfect solution. raise Why didn't Grady think of this? Wasn't rocket science...

That's awesome! Kinda hard to see from the pics but will those welds rust?

If he used stainless rod or wire depending on Tig or Mig then it should not rust.

Sorry for the crappy pic. It's stainless just a little blue from the heat.
