Went to get her ready for this summer. Looked at the prop, saw some lube still in the threads from last summer, thought it looked ok. Don't know why, but I went back and took off the prop to make sure everything was OK. It wasn't, the plastic insert that makes up the hub kit was broken. The moral - check it out before you go out. Pretty hard to make a pretty white line in the water behind the boat if the prop has probs. I know most of you guys do this, but I'm glad I found it out now than on opening day of Rockfish season.
