Hi Capt and welcome to the forum, I had the same problem with my grady tilt wheel, What i had to do is pull the steering wheel using a wheel puller, remove the black plastic cover so that you can spray a white lube or similar into the universal joint. I had tried spraying every visable joint without removing cover & this did not work, have to remove the wheel in my case,
