In case anyone is interested, I bought these stainless steel cupholders from Amazon for my 228. They fit nicely and have a thread on the bottom so you can attach a hose if you want (5/16). If you want to upsize it to a larger hose to connect to the livewell drain, get a female thread that is 1/8.

I haven’t used them for a full season on the water but I bought the same brand marine grade dock cleats and they have been out there without any pitting or rusting since March.

Agreed...I know a lot of people want to convert to Stainless and thought these were a great option.

How long have you had them for?

I bought them in the spring as the original ones near the bait tank were cracked, so far so good, no complaints

Did anything that came with them indicate that they are 316 stainless?

Just that it’s marine grade. The company said the same with the dock cleats I bought but the seller labeled it as 316.

The Amazon seller for the cup holder doesn’t say anything other than marine grade.

Those are a nice addition assuming you have the reinforcement. Wonder how your dealing with drainage into the bilge. A much larger hole for water to get in.

I have a 265 Express so they are in the transom (drain overboard) and the side gunnel (drains on deck) so not a problem at all.
