I am looking to replace my courtesy step lights (access to the foredeck) on my 2002 GW Islander 270 with LED lights. My current setup which I assume was the original factory install has the white light/red light capability using the rocker switch at the helm which I use quite often. I looked in the Land N Sea catalogue but wasn't able to find what I need.

Has anyone replaced these lights and/or can you provide recommendations?

It looks like the original was likely an Attwood 13-103 cockpit light, where a Google search didn't pull anything up with that model number, of which it would make me assume it's long since been discontinued or there's been a change of model number or two since then. They appear to still make something similar in a 3" diameter that I've attached below, of which they made a standard style of bulb for it as well as it looks like an LED option.

I agree and do believe it was Attwood models that were used. Thank you for the research and link. I am getting some service work done on the engines but should get her back next week and I will be able to confirm and then order two of them. I do see them on Amazon and a few Canadian dealers so will likely order there if there is stock given I am in Ontario. Thanks again for your assistance!

GW used a transom light on my model year for courtesy lights in the cockpit. My rule on this type of retrofit is to find an exact replacement regardless of who the current manufacturer is. Avoid all the drama of not fitting in the hole or screws lining up. Most times the "easy" way isn't always that easy. I do the same with pumps all the time.

Well... considering it's the part number listed on the 2004 Grady White parts catalog, I imagine it's going to be pretty accurate. As mentioned above, they claim it's a cockpit light part number of 13-103. Which after a short Google search appears to be an outdated part number for an Attwood brand cockpit light. As mentioned above, the new part number looks to be a 6356D7, of which it's readily available from just about everywhere, including Amazon and maybe even your local Marine parts store, depending on where you live? I'd be starting off with that one first, either by buying it locally if possible, or from Amazon, checking the fitment and then if it's a direct match, installing it, etc. If it isn't then go from there, and return it, but I'd be willing to bet it's a match, or close enough to make it work out. Good luck....
