I have a 2024 231 Coastal Explorer, a dream of a boat and all great so far except for this tiny issue where this little plastic piece came off of the side of the stereo. I don’t see how to reattach other than super glue…prob a long shot but does anyone know anything about this? I know, it’s a boat and things start breaking but this is like 3 months off the dealers lot and it just poppedIMG_0162.jpeg off with no pressure.

This will seem extra minor issue one day when half of what’s on the boat doesn’t work and I’m just glad when it cranks (Not bc it’s a Grady, because it’s a boat).

Looks like my Fusion Stereo! If the retaining screws are too large the covers won't stay on. Try going down a size. Order new ones from Garmin/Fusion.

That piece snaps into place pretty tight. Have you pushed real hard on the ends? Or take the screws out to see if it snaps into place. In that case as noted before the screw heads might be in the way. Try flathead screws.

Does your boat have the F250? If so, is it enough engine or would you want more horsepower?

If they are thru-bolted, with a nut on the backside, you could probably use the same holes. If you are using screws, it looks like you could carefully drill new hole above and below the existing ones.
