Hi,
I had my boat pulled for the 2011 named storm Irene here in MA. The haul charge was $550. Does that sound reasonable? What do you pay in your area? To be clear, that was the cost to haul and then launch after the storm passed.

I was charged $260 for my 22 footer here on Long Island and the insurance company picked up half of that being it was a named storm.

They were charging $12/foot for the haul/relaunch

Wow, you guys get pounded with costs. Here on Lake Superior

The travel lift costs $2.00 a foot here and $30.00 for blocking if you don't have your own blocking.

Example: 28' boat is $56.00, take your own blocking and its no cost.

If you want to bottom coat and the travel lift is available the charge is $30.00 a day to put it on the slings. They will move the slings forward the following day so that you can paint the remaining. Of course there are only about 50 boats at the marina and transient traffic averages 2 boats a day.

I paid $560 for in and out with my 265 Express in CT.
I just moved my boat as I have decided to switch marina's.

Thanks guys. Looks like it is in line with what folks are paying in the northeast. I think it is high, but it looks like it is the going rate.
