Swapping out F250 Yamaha for BT350 Honda

Congratulations!

You may wait 10-20 hours before you check in depth the fuel economy, it can be that the engine runs richer fir the first hours of the break-in period.
The on a flat and safe stretch of water write down rpm-speed-fuel flow in 500 rpm steps, this will help you greatly with understanding how well your prop is working.
BTW: What prop is installed, the original Honda one?

With the trim limit switches properly set the engine clears the water and also obvi does not hit the transom...... LOVE LOVE! Picking up tomorrow 5/21/26

Picking up tomorrow 5/21/2026 The trim limit switch gets it out of the water!! Sweeet! Although HONDA puts a zinc in the water pick up on the lower incase it sits in the water, unlike YAMAHA

So just picked her up and have not launched her yet too tired...... The motor just clears the storage bin/Back of transom when the skeg is out of the water. They set the trim limit switches in the control to stop. If not it will hit the transom! She goes up enough to be out of the water, and also put the trailering tabs/locks on the outboard down to protect the trim pump from getting bounced around. I am happy! She is big though, although take the cowl off and it looks regular. There is a lot of space in the cowl, maybe room for a v10! lol
