Going to replace the switches/fuses/led's on my '84 Offshore.

Want to replace/rewire the entire panel.

Was thinking of replacing the toggle switches and led's with rocker switches that had led's on the switch.....

Any suggestions? Thought maybe someone had done something similar.....

Blue Sea's makes the best panel's, just purchased a 6 switch panel from them and will be installing it tommorrow to handle my new accessories. Wich Grady included more then 1 accessory switch on the panel.

Your best bet is to buy a premade panel, but the new rocker switches take up more room on the dash then the toggle's so make sure you will have room for them. The Panel's come prewired, just connect your accessories and your set. Consumer Marine electronic's carry's them, as well asPaneltronic's panel's which are a little cheaper. Sea Dog is another brand that makes them.

In the middle of doing the same thing now. look for a post by conshykid for the an 89 Offshore rewire and bulkhead replacement. I am doing exactly the same things. All new fuse panels, buss bars, circuit breakers, etc. All of it Blue Seas. I am completely rewiring the boat. It's amazing how many wires were cut and just left unused and proves to you how some people have no business trying to wire accessories. If you don't want to get that deep into it, and just want to replace replace the switch panel, go with Scott C from Vector LED. He will custom make a panel for you for a reasonable price. Good luck!

I am looking to do the same on my 88 Seafarer 228G.. I would love to see pics of everyones custom work around the helm..
