I have 06' twin yammy 200 hpdi's. What oil is recommended? I'm the new owner of a 25' 1990 sailfish and want the best possible oil for the motors. I tend to like synthetics for all my motors.(cars, trucks, etc.) And was wondering if it is best for two strokes. I figured I'd start here since this forum seems to be the most knowledgeable around. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, new grady owner, Splash

I have 2 Hpdi 200 hp motors. I have used only Yamalube in accordance with my installing dealer. I also use Ring Free and Stable per his instructions. The motors run great. My dealer buys 55 gallon drums of this oil and repackages into 1 gallon jugs. As long as you return the emptys he will refill them for $20.00 per gallon. I don't have any experience with a synthetic oil and so long as the motors keep purring along like they are and my oil usage remains low I don't see any need to change.

Thanks Marty. I just researched the yamaha web site and they suggested the same. (Yamalube) It appears to be a hybrid of synthetic and conventional, and so seems the way to go. Thanks for the reply. Gratefully, Splash

Marty, How often do you use Ring free, and Stable?
