Looking to modify a stand up tackle station on my 268. Non of the Grady layouts have a really good tackle station to work on. You just stand up cutting line and tackle off, throwing them in any cup holder you can find. Doesn’t have to be big just a small table with hook and weight holders. Looking to fab one above the port livewell. Everyone always says all my cup holders are filled with junk and nowhere to put their drink. Any ideas?

Most of it is going to depend on your budget as well as the size of the table that you're looking for. You could do anything like this 25" wide fillet table with space for a tackle box below, or you can up the ante a bit and go with something nicer. Of course, nicer generally means more expensive. There's a guy that lives out here in the Seattle area that has a company called Miller Marine and they pretty much only do fillet tables as well as other custom fishing accessories. I don't have any of his products but a buddy has a smaller sized fillet table from him that he really likes. I think if I were to do it, I'd buy one of his 32" fillet tables, then maybe add the tackle box extension holder below it and install it near the transom of the boat over the top of my livewell. I like that these Miller Marine tables are customizable and have holders for tackles boxes, bottles of scent, lures, paper towel holders and just about anything else that you can think of.

With the 268 I have to reach over my transom seat to get to my rod mount filet table. I will probably make one out of starboard and take out the port small tackle station behind the seat and above the livewell with enough room to still open the livewell comfortably
