Just a heads up to all the fisherman here, do NOT order anything from Tackledirect. They are going out of business. I misplaced my deck boots and checked online if they had them and they did. I drove from my home in Sea Isle City NJ to Egg Harbor NJ (about 20 miles) and walked into a nearly empty store. They had no deck boots. I have a $100.00 gift certificate I received for Christmas, so I went online to use it before it was too late. After a long search because they are nearly out of inventory I found a pair of Rapala pliers for $94.00. When I went to the cart to checkout it would not take my gift card for payment. It actually says the gift card number does not exist. Pass the word.

That's a shame. I remember when they were great to deal with and their stores were nice. Then one year everything went to crap and it was backordered, not in stock, late shipments but worse of all ZERO support. It think that was the end of them.

That sucks, I got a bunch of BOGO free Diawa BG’s from them several years ago and still place a few orders a year with them.

I am in the same boat. I have 100 gift certificate for there and they have nothing I really need. I went to the store and it is completely empty. The worst part about the entire thing is they lied right to my face and said they are redoing the store. I talked to a rep at a fishing seminar they said tackle direct can’t get any supplies do to not paying there suppliers.

I'm going to stop in with my $100 gift certificate one day this week.

Talking to my local tackle store he has been having supply chain problems. Things they usually could get they can't get. Product that smaller shops would have gotten was going to larger places and online sellers.

I'll see what I I can find out.
