The HEY MON! over in West End, Grand Bahama Island

We took our 2001 Marlin to Old Bahama Bay Resort & Marina in West End, Grand Bahama Island over the July 4th weekend. It was our first trip where we stayed aboard (3 nights) and we enjoyed it a lot! As you can see, we were one of the smallest boats there so we got stuck with a seawall slip.

It's about a 68 nm run from Hillsboro Inlet, (just north of Ft Lauderdale) to West End and it took us about 2 + 40 to get there. That included a few potty breaks, etc......

Bimini is a bit closer at about 62nm from Hillsboro Inlet.......
