Hello All,
I am looking for suggestions. I have a 1986 254 Sailfish, Boat runs fantastis has the original twin 170 Merccruisers in it. my question is when trolling on one engine, either one does not matter how can i take the end play os slack out of throttle so i can fine tune the trolling speed? An example would be when i am trying to adjust speed to hols 2.5 MPH i may be at 700 RPM speed wil drop under do to conditions i go to increase throttle and the travel is dead space then suddenly jump to 1100 RPM. the same if I have to decrease after increasing speed a lot of free play on the throttle before I actually get a response. Any suggestions on hoe to adjust this would be appreciated.

Thanks
Chaz

252 have you considered "iTroll" I have it on my kicker motor but believe it can be applied to any size outboard. One can certainly zero in on the rpms and trolling speeds. Cheers, trapper
