Through Hull & Valve Replacement

My valve on my saltwater washdown is stuck open. My boat is a 272 Sailfish with he chrome plated bronze fittings and what looks like a Parker valve. What would be the modern equivalent or upgrade for this job?

Instincts say, do not force it. Try it by hand only, keep an eye on it. At the earliest practical opportunity, "on the hard" do a good cleaning all around the thru hull nipple. Take a good look with a bright light, give it a shake. Replace the valve, or if need be, replace the thru hull first. Use 4200 on a clean set of surfaces. Bronze has proven itself for me.
