Thru Hull Rust

I own a 2009 330 Express, great Boat!! I am puzzled however by "rust" bleed coming out from under most of the side "thru-hull" fittings. All the thru hulls on 2009 models are 100% stainless steel. Looking from inside it appears that the nuts and washers are SS as well. There is also, no sign of rust inside. Can this bleed be from resin or bedding compound? Let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks.

stainless will "rust". i get the same thing and just clean it off. everything looks ok. i think it comes from water laying in the thruhull and then dripping out as the boat rocks. ron
