I purchased a 20004 208 with a thru hull transducer. I have attached a picture of it from top and bottom. I’m wondering if someone might have an idea as to whether this unit will work with a Simrad GO XSE that is currently on boat paired with Totalscan transducer (that has thin crack in side of it). Also courteous about the round bulb located to aft and port of transducer in pic. Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like its an Airmar with a speed paddle. maybe a B744. It is a 50kHz/200kHz CW not a CHIRP transducer. I don't have a Simrad so I can't say if it will run it...maybe with an adapter... but it will never give you CHIRP or Totalscan functionality. You can check the Simrad manual or maybe someone here has that running on the same unit.

I don't see a round bulb in the picture.

Thanks for the feedback Skunkboat. I checked out the Airmar site you included and did a quick search to see if Simrad has a product that fits this housing. I’m happy with the Totalscan so far but worried about that crack causing it to fail out on an albacore run this summer. Thanks again for the help
