Hi - I need to remove a toe rail to install a crab pot puller, but I can’t see any obvious method of connection (no visible screws, etc). Any ideas on how they are attached on a 2015 208 Adventure and how to remove them? I’ve attached a picture for better clarification. Thank you in advance for any help!

Thanks for the reply, I think the answer could be behind that piece of trim, I just don’t want to start digging into it without being sure. Also, at least on this end piece where I’m pointing, I don’t see how an underlying screw could be under that brown trim and still penetrate the hull piece based on the angle.

I’ll probably start digging into that trim this weekend....

On our 2002 Grady 209 the phillips head screws are definitely where that brown strip is on you 208 (we do not have the brown strip).

On my 2006 208 there are two screws one above the other. One would be hidden behind the strip and the other would be above it. If that helps. It appears they have gone to one screw at each fastening point, or two parallel to each other. Cheers, trapper

This is the way they did it on my 2004 Tournament 205.....

Thanks for the replies! It turns out I needed to cut some rail out anyways for the puller to be vertical and against the gunnel. I found that the screws are behind the brown trim piece, but it seems like you would needed to really muscle / tear and/or heat the pieces to pull the trim out? Here are a few pics, plus one where the puller is roughed in. But of course I didn’t get around to taking a photo after it was finished and all cleaned up....D205BD89-6971-4FBC-97BF-C05E70D9B32E.jpeg56259A08-DAF0-4121-8DF4-BE5631731614.jpeg6F22AEEE-B0AC-4462-856C-70A70384ABB5.jpeg
