I'm sure a lot of you know who Tom McGow is. From all indications that I'm seeing, it looks as if Tom has passed away. He was always willing to help anyone that reached out to him. Always participating in discussions regarding Bennett trim tabs specifically but would try and help with other tab questions. His experience and helpfulness will be missed. RIP Tom.

Condolences to his family. He had the respect of a lot of people in the boating community and also those who were not, I'm sure!

I will miss his insight and knowledge. Truly a loss for our community.

Thanks for sharing this update, although it's sad to hear.

I always enjoyed how members of this forum could type, in any thread, "just ask Tabman!", and shortly thereafter his very helpful comments would appear below.

I spoke with him several times when I owned my Parker. Amazing man, never charged me a dime for his advice. It is sad to see good people go. My condolences.

Sad to hear. As everyone has stated, a real nice guy that took the time to answer questions and provide advice. RIP Tom.

A good man who will be missed. I don’t know how he did it - you just typed his name and he was there!
