Tournament 192
Hello-

My boat (1996 Tournament 192) is on its mooring and I have an opportunity to purchase a used trailer in very good shape. I was wondering if any of the Tournament owners out there have the bow eye to transom measurement on hand? It would save me the process of retrieving, measuring, and re-launching.

Thanks,
Chris

The one I can measure is 500 miles away... and on a mooring :)

But you can very, very easily do it in the water - it's just a straight line measurement. Transfer the bow eye location to the topside then measure.

You "might" find this info in your manual - or downaloadable on GW's site.

I was thinking of that but was hoping for a more precise measurement as I am 100 miles away and won't get to the boat till after the July 4th weekend. I wasn't able to find the information online prior to posting my question.

Get the make and model number of the trailer you are looking at. Go to the manufacturers web page and you will probably find the stern to bow eye spec but more importantly the spec will give a range of adjustment for fine tuning the winch stand location. That range is usually 2 maybe 3 feet. The point is that you don't have to be deadly accurate in the measurement.

Just stepped out back and measured my 2003 192.
Measured 205 inches{ (17 ft 1in) bow eye to transom at bottom of transom. (it's covered)
Bunk boards extend 19in over the rear trailer crossmember and boat transom is even with bunkboard.
