Got the final prep work down for the haul from JAX to the Keys at the end of the month. Took some pics and got some measurements.

2018 Ram 2500 - continental triple axle trailer comes in at 59 feet with the motors up.
I stand right at 13'6" all these measurements fit within the legal towing as long as i have over width permit, which i do just have to sett the flags out.

The grey items over the rear strap prevents the mark on the side of the boat. They are seat belt covers I got at Walmart for like $2, really saves the side and they are tucked under where the strap hit the side so they dont slide down. Dealer i bought the trailer from suggested putting the strap right to the I beam.

The hitch is rated for 14500 lbs and 10% tongue weight.

I might be worried about the hook right on the I-beam. It seems like there would be more point-loading there than using the u-bolt/hook - which is mounted further towards the web where more strength would be. The u-bolt also spreads the load over a wider area.

Agree, and that strap could slip/walk as well.
