Has anyone that had their trim piston seals replaced experienced a slick temporarily post-repair? Just had one of my seals done and still have a slick showing after raising/lowering the engine. Repair shop said that this sometimes happens if their is any residual fluid left over from the repair. I have a Gulfstream with a single F-225 on a bracket and the pistons are right at the water line when raising or loweing the engine. Repair shop said to watch it for a couple of weeks and if the motor starts to struggle raising and lowering the engine to bring it back.
