Has anyone installed an electric trolling motor on a newer 257 with windlass?

Rhodan on a GW Marlin

In the market for a used 30’ Marlin and have been wondering if anyone has successfully rigged a trolling motor on a marlin for the anchor lock feature to bottom fish? If so interested in any info & photos. Thanks Mike

Looking at a picture of the boat on GW's site... fab a slightly raised platform in the area between the side nav light and cleat on one side of the boat. Make sure the platform doesn't interfere with the visibility of the nav light. Attach a quick disconnect plate to the platform so that you can easily remove the TM at night or inclement weather to be able to use the nav lght properly. The TM can be deployed off center - it doesn't have to be dead center on the bow.
