Man what a kick ass day on the big blue!!

Went out on Yolanda (HOOKED) with Jed, and my buddy

Ran to first numbers, at 65NM up hill to the C bank, lomg 3hr ride on a 23ft Edgewater, but fun and fast!

Got to 46/46 had a instant double on dorado plugs and purple clones

switch all over to purple clones and purple plugs cept one Dorado plug
Dorado plug had a fish on at every stop!!!

got dub's and trips and had them crashing the surface for 2 bait stops

went quite, found warmer and bluer water due west and north at 58/56
dub's., quads, grey whales, birds
got them on bait again

switched all over to dorado plugs and clones at 1pm
doubles and signles

went dead, switch over to all purple plugs
ran out to 00/00 thru 02/08, the epic bite
loaded the boat with more fish than we had storage!! we had the ice though!!

pulled plug at 6pm, still bitting hard!!!
Ran back to Pt Bonita, 76.7NM, downhill, ran 25-30knots back
got in around 9pm to dock

washed boat
loaded geat
drove home
cut fish
then posting this, AFTER COVERING OVER 220nm on under 100gallons of gas

GO GET THEM NOW!!!
WATER WAS SWEET!!!

start at the 45/45 work NW, they are there in cords

Nice catch Richie, looks like they are moving north. Where did you launch out of, Pt Bonita... I see. I guess it's better than going out of Emeryville.
We need some pics of the slaughter.

I haven't launched from any place other than Moss, SC and HMB, ocean wise. I was looking to go north here since the pods are going that way, but didn't know of the better places to launch out of or if it was worth the drive by truck or boat. Coming from Manteca, it's still a drive either way.

That's almost closer than HMB. It would seem farther since you have to go through the bay, but I guess you would go north from HMB to get there.

Nice job Richie! That's a heck of a run for you guys to get them. Glad it paid off.
