Update on Kyle...nearly a year later

Hey Yall:
Last year I wrote the forum about surgery my son Kyle had to reconstruct his hips. We are now a year out and come April the titanium in his hips will be coming out. The surgery results have been good and his hips are still aligned properly. He is walking about the same before the surgery and the orthopedic surgeon said it may take 18 months for him to really show improvements. All in all he is doing well and has been asking to get on the boat...last weekend here in the NC Mountains we had temps pushing 70!!!! Spring is on its way...I hope.

I forgot to say, but when I wrote about Kyle's surgery last year, the out pouring of support here was very heartfelt to me and the Admiral. Yall really touched us last year. I am thankful for all the kind words folks wrote here. Thanks again.

That's great news on your son. Spring coming and a son ready to get out on the water, it doesn't get much better than that. Tell Kyle to keep up the good work as I imagine there is some physical therapy involved.
