Thought I would post some pictures...made the splash today...she cleans up nice for an early 90's model. This is the 2nd yr I have had it and I am finally getting down to the bottom of the list of things I want to do to her.

Looks good. Jealous you are in the water and I am two months away from launch.....

You should really consider changing out all the delrin (plastic) thruhulls. I replaced all on my 1993 Escape five years ago when I got the boat. They were very brittle. To remove, stick a large screwdriver in and twist. They will snap right off at the hose barb.

Nice! Also good to see someone else with the same model I have, I feel a little lonely out there.

I'll second the thru-hull replacement though - that's on my list for before I launch, in my second season with the boat. I did an inspection last week and found 2 thru-hulls cracked, going to buy a bunch of marelon (they're all above the waterline) and replace them all.

One thing though - inserting a large screwdriver - how large are we talking? The inside diameter of the thru-hull is 1", and those notches are wider than that. I haven't been able to figure out how to replace them, was really thinking of just using a dremel to cut off the head, then find something about 1" in diameter (maybe some PVC) to hammer in and knock the thru-hull back into the hull (and wait for hilarity to ensue when something goes flying into the bottom of the hull, to join the raccoon who's currently calling my bilge home).
