On my Grady 228, with the Yami 3.3L F225, the low pressure fuel pump developed problems. I replaced it with a USA made Carter P61122 fuel pump with custom hose adapters. Later model engines would use a higher pressure version of the same pump. The pump cost about $100, plus $70 for the custom stainless hose adapters. Dan @BlackCatResearch.com made the custom hose adapters. You also need a wiring connector, Standard S-697, $11.
The new pump assembly is 5/8" longer and I had to modify the bracket somewhat. Replaced one of the molded hoses with a section of Yamaha fuel hose. My F225 uses 5/16" (8mm) fuel fittings, but later models use 3/8" hose. Black Cat would need to know which size you need.
The Carter P61171 is the same, but 43 psi. and also 30 GPH. This would work for later year Fxxx engines. Not sure when they went to the higher pressure lift pump.
