I recently sent a message to Grady asking for the total full weight of the 285 Freedom. Below is a chart they sent me. Very eye opening! Awesome detail on weight and dimensions of all models. This information should be stickied somewhere for reference.

MAXIMUM WEIGHT = DRY WEIGHT + ENGINE + FUEL + WATER + OPTIONS + GEAR (200lbs) + MISC (100lbs)

Excellent!

Now all we need are what A, B, C, D, etc. mean. Was there a legend with this chart?

The letter E appears to be the beam.

Thank you for posting this!

I sent a reply just now asking for those details. I will post them when they send it.

I remember a factory rep telling me that the 271 hull was only ever going to be a center console. So the forward 'V' could be 'sharper' with a deeper forefoot. It was not the same 27' hull as the previous 270, which had to carry more weight forward, or the current 275. But I did not realize that it is 1,000 lbs. different!

Interesting chart, Freedom. Thanks for sharing.
