Weight of a 208 went up in 2005

I have a 2003 Adventure 208 and I see it and the 2004 model weighs 2650 lbs. The 2005 weighs 2900 lbs.
Anybody know why?

Some additional "ballast" was added to the hull forward to compensate for the additional weight of a 4 stroke engine over a 2 stroke. Otherwise, the additional weight in the stern would have put the scuppers under water.
