3/17/22 Need assistance as to planning a route from West End to Green Turtle, travel distance and time averaging 15 mph. I am taking my 24’ GW Explorer over.

That's' a long trip in a 24ft boat! Assuming you go north around Mangrove Cay and north around Abaco, it's over 100 miles. Depending on the weather, going south would be quite a bit longer. There will be places to hide, but I wouldn't plan it non-stop. There is help from BASRA if you get in trouble, but make sure you have an EPIRB. Depending on the time of year, the seas can build quickly! I wouldn't do it in your boat, unless the weather was near perfect. Subscribe to Garmin‘s active captain for recent experienced information.
