Does anyone know the wet of a new Grady White 275 with twin F200’s and a tandem axle trailer? I own a 2017 GMC Yukon Denali 4WD and it is rated to tow 8100 lbs.

You can easily get the dry weights of the motors and boat from the respective websites. On Grady's website, add in the weight of fuel, water and holding tank based on the capacities, along with any accessories/options. Throw in a few hundred pounds, at least, for gear and such... another 50lbs per battery and you should be getting close enough as makes no difference. You don't mention what type of trailer, but for an aluminum, figure maybe 1,300lbs and for a galvanized, figure 2,000lbs.

The 275 Freedom is 4972lbs. dry.
184 gallons of gas @6.3lbs is 1159.2lbs
I believe the motors are right around 950lbs. each. Save 950lbs. using a single 300.
No idea on the trailer.

Too close to your limit methinks?
Trailer brakes are a must have.

More importantly, to me anyway, is the truck’s tranny. If you have a 10 speed tranny, you’ll likely be shifting a lot going up and down hills on the freeway. For this reason, I’ll go with a 3/4 ton with a 6 speed tranny when the time comes.

You can work it down to a fine answer, but I calculated our 270 Islander with twin F150s, with gear, accessories, fuel, water, batteries, ground tackle, etc as about 8000 lbs on the boat lift. I don’t see any way for you to be under 8100 with a trailer.

The Grady White web site gives the weight of the 275 w/o engines as 4972 lbs. The engines are 489, but you can call them 500 with oil in them. The performance tab shows 7866 lb. (including persons, fuel, water, gear, engines & accessories), so even if you subtract a bit for people you are over 7500 lobs without a trailer.

Bottom line, too much boat or not even truck.

The engines are NOT 950 each. They are 489 each w/o oil, so call it 500. The F300 weighs about 585 with oil, so the net weight savings is about 415#. Not enough weight savings to make it work with his truck, and that boat is much nicer with twins.

To be a bit picky, spec'd engine weights don't include the props:) All that said, for normal trailering you want the total load to be about 80@ of the towing limit. You can go a bit higher for shorts trips. One easy way to reduce load is to not trailer with a full tank, Regardless, your truck is probably under sizes.

Now, no cheating either: The towing capacity of the vehicle includes the weight of people and gear in the truck too. So moving gear from the boat to the truck doesn't help.. Think Honeymooners episode about moving the dresser:)

I have a 2008 275 with 250s. I have a 4x2 expedition with hd tow package and have no issues pulling the weight. I do live in Florida though. I also do not trailer often. My next truck will be a 4x4.

Max tow is with a weight distribution hitch. If you have a trailer with surge brakes, you cant use a wd hitch setup unless you buy a newly designed expensive version. The standard wd hitch setup only works with electric brakes.
