What's a great hard water spot remover

On boat windshield glass?

I have used vinegar before. Anyone else have a special product or recipe ?

Bronze wool will get the job done and help to polish the glass at the same time. I never had any luck with any of the suggested chemicals.

CLR or Lime Away works but it will etch aluminum if not rinsed off soon.

I had pretty good results with cerium oxide and a wool pad buffer. Some of the spots are permanently etched in the glass but the end result is a drastic reduction overall. Good luck with it!

I bought a water spot remover off Amazon. Don't remember the exact name so I'll have to look over the weekend. Works great.
