Hey, guys and gals. I am getting ready to get rid of a project boat of mine and am wondering about the value. It is a 1995 Islander with twin 175 Evinrude 2 strokes with only 262 hours. The port-side motor has a fuel issue, I think, as it sometimes has trouble starting. Great compression on both motors. The boat is in great shape and was shed kept most of its life. Comes with all cushions, in good shape, a full set of curtains, and outriggers. The I-beam aluminum trailer is in great condition. I purchased this boat as a project and THEN figured out it would not fit on my lift. I recently purchased a 23-foot Gulfstream, and now this one needs to find a new home. Any help would be much appreciated.

Doing a quick search on Boat Trader, I'd say maybe around $25k-$30k? Idk, it's difficult to determine the actual condition based off of 4 pictures, especially with the potential issues of the port side motor, etc. There's currently a 1996 GW 268 Islander on Boat Trader with a newer Mercury 4 stroke for $32,500 which gives somewhat of an apples to apples comparison. Not sure if it comes with a trailer or not, though.

The transom was replaced by Grady White under a recall. I also checked it, and it is good.
With one engine not running correctly, I'm aiming for 11 or 12 thousand for her.

can you tell us more about this?

also, have you checked the tongue weight of the trailer? the boat looks a bit far

The previous owner had passed away, but his best friend, who fished with him, said Grady had put in a new transom under a factory recall.
