What's she worth?

I'm looking at a 1994 gulf stream 23', has original 150 mercs, out riggers, hard top fresh water two fuel tanks, older electronics. Needs lots of TLC on the trim work, gel coat, window seals are shrinking, no trailer, she's been wet for for a long time ( stored at the marina i work at ) I'm good friends with the owner ( he's the original owner BTW ) and he needs to get rid of it and I'd like to not insult him with a price. If I don't buy it I'm going to help him sell it. Any info would help. thanks

we had one at our marina that was in pretty good shape, motor was original so buyer told me that he figured he would have to repower. I don't know what he paid but the ask was $5000. and the buyer paid less.

thanks for the info, that's a big help, I've found prices all over the map and your number is in the ballpark of what i was thinking. It has all the options but like i said she needs a lot of TLC and a re-power soon. those old twin mercs are clumsy battle wagons but their days are numbered. thanks again.
